AIDS or Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome is a condition caused by the Human Immune Deficiency  Virus (HIV), which slowly destroys the ability of the body to fight infections or diseases. When enough of the immune system is destroyed the person cannot resist infections, and therefore, gets repeated illness by both common and uncommon disease causing organisms such as bacteria and viruses. No effective cure for HIV currently exists, but with proper treatment and medical care, HIV can be controlled.

 

‘Journal of HIV/AIDS & Current Research, a bimonthly publishing Open Access journal aims to offer the best platform for sharing information on  diagnosis, prevention, treatment and new findings in the field of HIV/AIDS.

‘Journal of HIV/AIDS & Current Research’ welcome scholars across the globe to submit their  original research papers fulfilling the requisite criterion. The journal also accepts review, short communication, editorial, expert review and letter to the editor.

All the manuscripts published by ‘Journal of HIV/AIDS & Current Research’ undergo rapid, quality and quick  review processing by eminent editorial and review team maintaining high standards and ethics of publishing.

Scope of the journal

‘Journal of HIV/AIDS & Current Research’ primarily focuses on HIV transmission and it’s prevention strategies. The journal covers the following topics (including but not limited to the following fields).

  • HIV infection
  • Developing and testing preventive HIV vaccines
  • New treatments for HIV infection
  • AIDS-associated opportunistic infections
  • Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)

Instructions for Author(s)

Authors should strictly follow the journal guidelines and format the manuscript before submitting it. Only papers written in English can be considered for peer-review and publication. Before submission, authors should ensure that their manuscript fits the scope of the journal.

Authors are expected to adhere to the following ethical guidelines

  • Only unpublished and the original manuscript should be submitted.
  • It is unethical to submit a manuscript to more than one journal at a time.
  • Authors must state that all data in the paper are real and authentic.
  • The sources of data used in the development of the manuscripts should be acknowledged.
  • Any conflict of interest must be clearly stated.

Journal of HIV/AIDS & Current Research follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Guidelines for issues of fraud, image manipulation, and duplicate publication.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check their submission’s compliance with all of the following items. Submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. Cover letter (Names, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses for all authors and corresponding author details should be submitted in a cover letter along with the manuscript.)
2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word (or equivalent) file (NOT PDF), in English, single-spaced, using a 12-point font. All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. Submit multiple files in one secure Zip file.
3. Spell and grammar checks have been performed.
